Chipper days (planned): working with the County and CAL FIRE so there's somewhere to take the brush you clear.
Clearing brush along evacuation roads (planned): roadside fuel reduction on the main routes in and out.
Help with home hardening (planned): helping at least one neighbor a year who needs a hand, such as with vent screens.
Adopt-a-Pullout (planned): neighbors keep roadside pullouts clear so traffic keeps moving in an evacuation.
Address signs (planned): at least three new signs a year, so fire crews can find every house.
A Benbow evacuation plan (planned): including the golf course, with Benbow's needs written into the County's wildfire plan update.
Supporting the fire district (planned): going to and promoting Garberville Fire's events, like the yearly crab feed, and helping toward a station in Benbow.
